Computational Science Engineering and Engineering (CSE) complement theory and experimentation as a critical component of scientific discovery discovery. The CSE is indispensable for cutting-edge research and engineering design in a large number
number of industrial sectors, including, for example, aerospace, automotive, biological, chemical, and semiconductors that increasingly rely on advanced modeling and simulation.
The SIAM CSE conferences are intended to enable in-depth technical discussions on a wide variety of large-scale computational efforts in science and engineering, foster the interdisciplinary culture needed to tackle these large-scale problems, and promote the formation of the next generation of computer scientists, vital to our complex society. Participation in SIAM CSE conferences has been growing steadily and is now at the level of over 2,000 participants. Most of the participants are regular attendees of the SIAM CSE series, who used to work intensively during the conference in groups of concrete collaborations, discussions and joint programming. Thus creating a magnificent constructive atmosphere for the conference.
