The Iberian Energy Storage Research Centre (CIIAE) is a pioneering infrastructure in the development of green energy storage technologies. Its aim is to make renewable energies a real alternative to fossil fuels, solving the technological and scientific challenges in green energy management.

Right now CIIAE has opened about 60 positions. At least seven of them will deal with mathematical modelling and complex systems: Those related to Atomistic Simulations, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Energy Systems. In these fields, there are a total of five positions for predoctoral students (PD: PhD researcher in atomistic simulations; PhD researcher in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) (2 positions); PhD researcher in energy system analysis (2 positions) ), one for postdocs (IJ-“Investigador Junior”: Junior researcher in energy system analysis), and two for group leaders (IS-“Investigador Senior”: Senior researcher in computational fluyd dynamics (CFD); Senior researcher in energy system analysis).
